This is a First Day of issue gold replica stamp commemorating the first Liberty Ship in World War II.  Postmarked Sep 3,1991 in Phoenix, AZ.

The First Day Issue cover measures 7.25" x 4". The replica stamp (1.5" x 1") is affixed to a card with a red velvet cover on one side and dark red paperboard on the other.  The card is enclosed in the postmarked envelope.  A second card with additional information about the stamp is included; it measures 7.5" x 4.25".

Shipment by US Postal Service 1st Class mail.
