Description:

Lot of 19 used State of New York 10¢ Stock Transfer Tax stamps, 1936 issue, perf 12½. All are cancelled as expected for used revenue stamps with a variety of purple, blue, and perfin cancels. Condition varies — some staining, toning, and minor faults present on several examples as shown in photos of both front and back. A solid lot for the revenue stamp collector or accumulator.

Looking at the backs in Image 2 (which are NOT in the same orientation or layout as the front image), there is a nice variety of cancellation types and some condition issues worth noting:

Several have perfin cancels
Some have purple/violet revenue cancels
A few show staining, toning, or paper adherence on the back
One has significant paper loss on the back (row 3, far right)
A couple show blue ink cancels
Condition ranges from fine to poor-fine overall — typical for used revenue stamps
