US Scott O50 — 2¢ Post Office Department Official Stamp (1873) — Used

This is a genuine U.S. Official stamp, Scott O50, issued in 1873. The stamp is used with a moderate cancel. It has Fine centering with a slightly tight bottom margin. Several perforations show typical roughness for this issue.

Please note:

The stamp has a repaired tear. A piece of tape on the back is holding the tear together. Additional toning, hinge remnants, and perf faults are also present. Because of this heavy fault, the stamp is being sold strictly as a spacefiller.
