Each stamp is a frame of sequential art, creating one sweeping panoramic narrative when viewed together. Scenes include a rooftop balloon party, a neighborhood bookstore, apartment cluster boxes, the new USPS Next Generation Delivery Vehicle, and a heartwarming final stop where the carrier greets a child at home.
About This Issue: The artwork was created by noted cartoonist Chris Ware, co-designed with USPS art director Antonio Alcalá.  Deeply influenced by the great masters of sequential art, Ware brought his signature meticulous, richly detailed illustration style to this landmark commemorative — making it one of the most visually ambitious and collectible panes in recent USPS history.
