I received a stock or accumulation of hundreds of used liberty definitives recently. I began looking through them and was surprised by the very few that have a readable postmark. Unlike some of the other definitives where most receive a readable cancel, I could only find perhaps one in every one hundred that had a year on it. Those with a readable date and a town were much more rare. So these prices are really rock bottom considering the rarity.
